With BIM, what you get is an intelligent building model that’s linked to a central project database. And because all the information – architectural, structural, and MEP – is integrated and related in one database, any changes to design, documentation, scope, or schedule are automatically propagated throughout the project. What you wind up with is a virtual, functioning building. http://www.adskhost.com/2007/04/Building-Information-Modeling
The Springs Preserve is a 180-acre non-gaming cultural and historical attraction designed to commemorate Las Vegas' dynamic history and to provide a vision for a sustainable future.
Known as the birthplace of Las Vegas, the site of the Preserve was once home to bubbling springs that were a source of water for Native Americans living here thousands of years ago. It also sustained travelers of the Old Spanish Trail and Mormons who came to settle the West. http://www.springspreserve.org

The program has consistently recruited talented graduate students that have helped to shape our philosophy and aesthetic. In addition, the program has focused on an outstanding visiting artist lecture series led by Robert Wysocki.
External from the university, yet with close ties Cindy Funkhouser has brought life to a First Friday event in downtown Las Vegas that has also helped to solidify our movement. http://www.unlv.edu
